This is a bright and sparkling pendant. It shimmers. It's beautiful and well made. The lavender stone photographs blue/purple and the metal appears like platinum, but it's actually a true soft lavender color and the metal appears like highly polished white gold. The point on the teardrop can be worn either way..north or south. It is "mildly" bold in appearance. It is not really large, but it has a lot of presence. Included is a very good quality 18" boxlink chain. Since the chain slides through both sides of the pendant, it lays very nicely on the neck. No flipping around when you move. For some, this would be more for dresswear; although, I will wear it with jeans and tank top, but I'm a lttle nutty. Usually, if I like a piece of jewelry, I will wear it with anything in my closet. I rarely dress up. This would be absolutely perfect for a bride or her bridesmaid's. If the bridesmaids dresses are in the any of the pink to lavender tones(even soft blue), this necklace would be ideal. Just perfect! It's a great price too.
